    2020 Travel Plans

As I'm living in Tokyo now most of our family trips (Seoul, Taipei, Shanhai, Beijing) have been canned due to virus issues. We are looking at the trans-mongolian train also. I will be flying to South Africa every 3 weeks for work though so I'll still be able to tick off some countries.

Greetings (again) this time from Tokyo

Hi Himeno, companies are finally getting on board with flex work which has helped out but from what I've heard from friends and my wife (we moved here for her job) not all workers are taking advantage of this. Companies are also pushing staggered start times to try and alleviate the peak hours...

Greetings (again) this time from Tokyo

Hi mate, there isn't really too much stress in Tokyo currently. There is a major shortage of masks and hand sanitizer and I've noticed more people wearing masks but as per doctor's directions they may not work. I take my son to school every day on the train and we've just increased hand washing...

So this happened to me on a trip in 2016 and it worked out great- I booked 2 x J awards (myself, wife, 3.5 month old son) HKG-DUS return on CX. Th flight over was great, very smooth, just what I expected of CX J class. The following 4 week holiday through Europe also went to plan. The return...

Lounge Access as QF Plat with Children

I was in the ORD flagship first lounge in December last year with my wife and 2yo- I was only QF gold and they let us all in the first class lounge on economy tickets to Montreal. Staff were great and never questioned my access once. It was up there with the best lounge food I've ever had.

seeking china eastern business class review

As stated by a few above I have a 1020pm flight so I am just happy to get a lay flat bed for minimal points and taxes. Decent food and few movies I haven't seen will be a plus. Anytime I'm not in economy is a good flight.
