Yeah I often use it as it’s cheaper than P2. Super quick, you just end up on the wrong level for departures.

I’ve found it’s still working fine, the main issue I’ve had lately is late calls from the lounge, especially for gates that are a decent way back in Syd like 42. By the time the lounge calls it and you get there general boarding has almost finished.

Can I bring a guest into the lounge if they are flying Jetstar and I’m VA?

Suite isn't worth it on Royal unless you need the space. I cruise with them and for $35 a day we get priority boarding, priority tenders, VIP seating in shows and steaming grade wifi. All of which are free for suite guests. A suite will get you access to Costal Kitchen and free happy hour drinks...

I made Platinum in 2018 and chose the above, dropped back to gold in 2019 (and didnt get a choice of program, understandably due to it being a soft landing), have been gold until this month when I qualified as Platinum again.

I have just qualified as Platinum after a few years as VA Gold and was surprised to see I couldn't select a car or hotel partner, because I chose one 4.5 years ago. I had assumed that it would have reset when I requalified. A little disappointing, I was looking forward to the car hire benefits...

I had the opposite issue. I was sitting on 993 credits and they bumped me to platinum 4 days before the next flight that would have taken me over the threshold
