    Please try one of the sites - travelocity, expedia..have used them twice and don't remember it quoting rates based on country of residence.. I would not use a incorrect address...the risks are more than any benefits..

    Thanks, called the help line...Can use the lounge on arrival if taking onward flight / taking a return flight the same day even if that is later in the day or evening on Qantas on OW airline.

    Thanks :D Mostly resigned to domestic travel this year, which means mostly discount economy , therefore does not look like a "race" to platinum. :shock: All the best for your international trips - J class should make it long flying easier :) .

    Another alternative is to have a taxi waiting for you on arrival. There are groups of taxi drivers, very professional, who will pick you up at the designated time. Need to call a number with the flight # and time and they will have taxi waiting for you You still pay what you would pay for...

    Re: PER to MEL Status Credits

    Did SYD-PER once via SYD-ADL-PER and PER-TSV via PER-MEL-BNE-TSV. Not had problems with luggage or missed connection. I guess as long as the connections are the ones chosen by Qantas there is minimal chance of missed connections. Yes - it gives more SC's but the long journey is a killer.

    Agree with Luckydog, Jet Airways is a great flight. Kingfisher is another good airline flying Indian domestic sector - complete with personal entertainment in economy.

    New to the forum + got Gold today 5.5 months in ..

    Gold in 4 Months 17 days Back from MEL today making it to 700 SC and gold. All "whY" with 20 SC's PER-MEL and a few other trips. Great forum with excellent information for FF.
