Hi all, Just looking at the virgin blue website and noticed that they have listed United as a flying partner. Do they share FF miles with UA? Ie, am I able to travel on Virgin and accrue miles to UA MP? Cheers, Kael

Thanks for the input guys. Status for me is a major thing. I think I'm going to go with TG as they're Gold lasts for two years. Thats easier than requalifing for 50,000 miles every single year, like most other *A airlines. Plus my AMEX card allows me to transfer miles over to them...

Thanks Markis. I assume your talking about flights for today? I would have thought that if you do it all at least 2-3 weeks in advance, you'd generally find availability. Even with SQ. The more and more I look into SQ, the more and more I think I'm probably better of sticking with UA. UA...
