5 of us flying economy and onto Orlando. May be better flying Virgin as more transit time in lax so you are not rushing. I think economy will probably be roughly the same on the 2 different planes.

Would you take VA1 or the Delta code share VA6552? Does it matter in term of miles or Status credit? Is one metal better than the other? Any light you guys/girls can shine on this would be great.

I think it all depends on when you want to fly. During peek times it might be better to try to use your points for frequent flyer points. Off peek you might be better of getting the FC credit. Do your sums and see how much the credits are worth compared to FF points.

When my wife spoke to ANZ yesterday she asked and they confirmed again that you will get 50K for each card account.

I received the same letter when they rejected me. I think it is a form letter. It is ANZ way of saying it is your fault as there are to many inquires on your credit report.

It depends on how they are spending it. If it is a lot of bills or supermarkets/petrol or others. For Virgin the best combo seems to be Citibank Sig and Amex Plat Edge. Even the NAB Velocity Card is OK giving 1.5 points per dollar on the Amex. If you can shed some light on their spending...
