Anyone has any recent experience with setting up wechat/ alipay? (as a foreign visitor to China) I was able to set up Alipay, and linking an Aust credit card to it. I recently did an award booking on Lifemiles. I seem to recall previously when I did so, I received an email with the booking details/ticket number etc. However with this booking, I only received an email with the booking reference. Going on the Thai website, I could log in/ manage booking...

Sometimes I do that too, but i have a tiny phobia about other people accessing their bag above my head and then accidentally dropping their bag on me!

I wonder why the cabin crew often have a lot of luggage. I imagine most of them are in some kind of import/export business arrangements!

I am not sure that they are any better than any other decent quality luggage. The polycarbonate ones definitely do crack. Their wheels are not the quietest. Even if they are covered by warranty, what about the turn around time. What happens when you are in the middle of a trip?
