Yes, you will still get the complimentary invitation to the QP regardless. It comes withe the PS kit, attached to the bottom of the welcome letter. I think the best use of it is to invite the extra guest into QP when you're travelling in a trio.

Was figuring how to find out U availibilty for a MEL-SYD flight. So I just called Qantas and they told me. :) I then made a booking for the time they said U was availible. And lo and behold, it worked. :D
