I received a "How was Qantas?" survey email so have used that to give them a serve and follow up on the promised refund.
I also acknowledged the efforts of the onboard CSM.
Sort of..... 1 seat was available on the later flight which arrived in PER around midnight. Given that our outbound the next morning was 05:10, that didn't appeal and there was no guarantee of a second seat materialising.
This just happened to Mrs_O and I. We had checked in online for BNE-PER having booked J reward seats ages ago. Seats were confirmed as 3A & 3C. When we got to the baggage drop kiosk, the computer beeped and told us to go and see an agent.
Got told we were being downgraded for travelling staff...
Looks like we will be collecting our luggage in Perth and checking it in again the next morning since online check in was separate for each flight despite it being a single itinerary.
It's been a while.... do you still get iPads in J on B737 or is it 100% BYOD?
Extra width, larger recline and less people are the main advantages. The legroom is improved but not game-changing. Also, just knowing that you are not in whY 🤣
Ha, ha, yes it is, isn't it :D.
The market looks 6-12 months ahead. The profits will come.
Markets as a whole may well be pricing in a couple of interest rate drops although I'm not sure we will see a "big tumble".
