Applied earlier in the week and received my welcome letter today (no card yet). The letter said they see I already hold an Amex card (DJ Amex), does this mean no bonus points or do other people get that and still receive them anyway? Thanks.

Still on platinum and was going to switch to world in a month or two. This has helped my decision somewhat at least.

I had the same issue booking JL award seats with the first agent not being able to see them but the second had no trouble. Apparently there's 2 ways for QF staff to search for them and many use the wrong method. They need to search through "redemption" instead of "flight availability"

Sounds exactly the same as me - bought from DJ 10th November and still no points. Sent an email and have had no response yet.
