I'm looking at booking BNE-LHR return with BNE-SIN/SIN-BNE in J and SIN-LHR/LHR-SIN in F. Easy enough on their website but I would like stopover in SIN on the return trip and can't see how to do this. Do I need to use a travel agent?

No J rewards to either in December. I have been looking at both of these for some time as positioning flights but no availability has come up. I guess anyone without Gold or Platinum status is screwed these days.

Found J reward seats from TPE-LHR on the QF site in December but of no use as there are no J reward seats from anywhere in Oz to TPE that can link up.

Might consider this if any SIN/HKG award seats in J appear but the main issue then is having to leave adequate layover time to cover possible delays with the flight from Oz. In the end I may just have to fork out the cash and use my 1.2 million points on domestic travel.

Yes some HKG-LHR J rewards but none from Oz to HKG so they are of no real use. My wife won’t fly economy domestic so economy to HKG is out of the question!

Don’t really know but looking at SYD-LHR on BA in early Dec 2023 I have seen J awards on BA site that did not show via QF. They are all gone now anyway. I am resigned to not going as there is no J award availibility out of Oz to any Asian hub where there is ongoing availability with partner...

I just received an email from Qantas advising that my $700 flight credit had been converted to a Qantas Pass. Looks much more flexible!

I certainly won’t fly Virgin Business again out of Alice Springs, Cairns or Darwin. Going to be busy in the Qantas lounges!

Applied for this on my wife's Earth Black. Simplified application with a lot of data carried over from Westpac. Approved quickly and cards received a few days later. $3000 spend already completed and 20,000 bonus points allocated.

Another question for CX regulars. I'll be travelling from LHR to BNE via HKG in CX J class. Booked using QFF points - do I qualify for lounge access at Heathrow & also Hong Kong while in transit?

Both my wife & I received the booklet in the mail on Friday. Her card hasn't received any communications for ever and a day so they finally must have rebooted her account. Her base offers are 1000 points for $50 spend while mine require a $135 spend for 2000 points.

Seems to be the way of the world now! I have had a similar ongoing saga with Woolworths about their rewards system. I no longer shop at Woolies and it sounds like Virgin is heading down the same slippery slope. I rarely fly Virgin these days and prefer to accumulate QF points wherever possible...
