    Citigold - Possible Enhancements Afoot

Yes. I know someone working at Citibank saying the same thing. I'd like to have more information about this.

    Citibank DCC Fees

This has already been fore-warned in this thread so I am surprised people are surprised with this. http://www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au/community/citibank-rewards-program/international-overseas-transaction-fee-72898-3.html I have also been made aware in another forum that this has indeed...

    International (Overseas) Transaction Fee

I have received an official reply from Citibank. Firstly, if you are a Citigold customer, the Relationship Manager would have to contact you about these changes and somehow, they have more information about this than if you were not a Citigold Customer (in which case, a customer service officer...

    International (Overseas) Transaction Fee

I got a feedback from the other forum of this: "Just logged in to Citibank to view my transaction so far and noticed the country code at the end of each transaction. I wonder if this is a reliable indication of what I need to move to an international transaction fee-free credit card, and what I...

    International (Overseas) Transaction Fee

Here is an article by Choice about the complexity surrounding the International Transaction Fee. https://www.choice.com.au/shopping/online-shopping/buying-online/articles/foreign-transaction-fees-when-shopping-online As you can see, the list includes Weight Watcher which is Australian...

    International (Overseas) Transaction Fee

Hi everyone, Haven't been posting into this forum for ages so great to be back. I am very concerned of one particular "enhancement" on the 18th of January 2016, that is the application of the increased 3.4% International Transaction Fee into online local purchases by vendors which may have...

FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

So.... spouse and supplementary are USD$200 each. Bah.... The limo is also bah.... So what's the value proposition again?

FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

Logically speaking when they say "Current Citi Prestige Cardholders", they can't be speaking about those who are currently on Select as technically speaking, they haven't got any Prestige card so when they convert, I would imagine they would be considered new. There is a note about applying...

The Platinum Edge Credit Card annual fee increases to $195

LOL. Lucky I am out of there. But it's interesting they're increasing their annual fee in light of what they have already done with their "enhancements". It may mean they haven't hurt their customers hard enough (ie: price insensitive)

    Citibank One Time Password (OTP)

In my opinion, OTP is the stupidest invention of all the banking enhancements I've ever come across with any financial institution in the world. I have logged my complaints with them about 3-4 months ago and clearly they don't really care... Quite seriously, are they really that dense for not...

"Enhancements" to MR earn on Platinum Card, Reserve & Centurian

I am finding it bizarre that we still have this conversation 6 months plus after AMEX started its harakiri move by culling the insurance then the membership rewards.... $900 for 0.5 points and nerfed insurance should have sealed in everyone's mind that they are being ripped off. Admitedly I...

"Enhancements" to MR earn on Platinum Card, Reserve & Centurian

Re: "Enhancements" to Membership Rewards scheme for Platinum Card / Platinum Reserve I think the biggest problem with most people is how are people not feeling silly to keep paying the same amount of annual fee (whatever it is) and getting these "enhancements". At the very least, they should...

"Enhancements" to MR earn on Platinum Card, Reserve & Centurian

Re: "Enhancements" to Membership Rewards scheme for Platinum Card / Platinum Reserve Quick question. When you cancel your AMEX mid term, do you get a partial refund on the annual fee? THanks Zz

Change in Platinum Card Travel Insurance?

Thanks Beardoc. Yes, you need to become a Citigold Member first in order to get 1/2 price Visa Select. Link is already provided by Beardoc. This means a requirement to hold $100,000 savings/investment. From experience, this balance must be maintained and can be breached for a number of months...

Change in Platinum Card Travel Insurance?

My renewal is in May and my card is an affinity charge card. I will be moving out to Citibank Citigold Select Visa. $350 (vs $700) and does about the same if not better than the current diluted AMEX TI. Better priority pass, and still cover the whole family TI. Back to 55 days (vs 44 AMEX...

    5xbonus at BP 'til 31Dec2011[Ext.to 31Mar2012 - now closed]

The swipe is easy until you're down to the last $50 or something and your petrol bill is above that, that's when it becomes a stupid nightmare. I spent $50.01 and the gift card refused to work (declined) and the guy had to reduce the cost by 1 cent. You can't also use the gift card and then...

NAB is no longer offering Gold Banking transaction account

Apologies if this is already posted but if you are moving to Citibank Plus, be aware that the free overseas ATM is only applicable to just Citibank ATM only. This is the difference vs NAB Gold. The latter allows withdrawal from any overseas ATM fee free.

Change in Platinum Card Travel Insurance?

If I read this correctly, are they suggesting that if you don't use your AMEX for Public Transport, you won't be covered for TAC insurance? Problem is in practice, not too many Public Transport will accept AMEX for payment. Thereby, the TAC component of the new insurance is effectively useless.
