Free cancellation of flight with slight time change?

I called QF and they cancelled my booking without cancellation penalty for a 1 hour timing change. No questions asked.

Free cancellation of flight with slight time change?

In the olden days, if your flight had even a small time change, your booking online would give you the option to either accept the new timing, or cancel the flight for free. In the recent flight retimings it appears that QF is immediately reissuing your e-ticket. Is it still possible to call...

Qantas to Launch SYD-AKL-JFK (June 2023)

Strangely I see availability as a QF plat that I can’t see when I search on BA or CX.

Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

Did Platinums receive an email about the free 15,000 miles? I received an email about the status extension but nothing about miles.

Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

Anyone think that QF has analysed how many people will fall off status due to reduced work travel (amongst other reasons), and therefore dressing up status extensions as an apology?

New TRS rules? Goods no longer included in cap?

Has anyone been stopped coming back into Australia where customs has said something like "We saw you claimed TRS GST refund, do you have these items with you coming back?"

Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

As of 1 April the 600 status credits expired….so one month late to expire my credits. Boo hoo.

Qantas "Choose your reward" Promo. Select from Double Status Credits OR Double Points [book 25/3/22-1/4/22]

Has this been extended? I just received an email and seems it is now open to international residents. https://www.qantas.com/sg/en/frequent-flyer/member-offers/thanks-a-million-row.html#important-information

Qantas "Choose your reward" Promo. Select from Double Status Credits OR Double Points [book 25/3/22-1/4/22]

I wonder if this is why as a Hong Kong member, when my membership year rolled over, I still have 600 status credits that haven't disappeared. ie QF knows they've given the equivalent of double status credits to overseas members already. I am actually in the middle of moving to Australia - I...

Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

Yeah it’s strange….no expiry of my status credits for my year to Feb 2022, it shows that I need 600 credits to renew platinum this year. Will update here if there’s any changes.

Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

It shows nothing related to these 600 status credits. Does it take a few days into the new membership year before they get zeroed? It's been a long time since we've had proper travel so I've forgotten these things.

Qantas extends status extensions until end June 2023 (previously December 2022)

Last year I received the status credit boost of 600 points. Aside from that, since I am based in Hong Kong I earned no other status credits. My year ended in Feb 2022 and I was auto-renewed to Feb 2023. As of today, my status credit balance is still 600 - do you think QF has given me another...

    Status extension / relief speculation

International travel is back, and domestic travel is opening up. However given that a lot of people's status was earned by business travel, do you think that Qantas might continue to lower status qualification levels for the next 1-2 years? In the immediate future, I think business travel is...

    Chairman’s lounge membership reviews

I'm pretty sure that CL membership is not for gaining business via word of mouth :)

    Chairman’s lounge membership reviews

I would hazard a guess (and it's mentioned in the "article") that those who really lost their CL membership, are those that are truly no longer in a position of influence due to their job changes, or if their company signed a contract with someone other than QF etc.

    Chairman’s lounge membership reviews

Saw this article “gossiping” about the Chairman’s Lounge membership list review. Not quite sure why qantas is getting flak for their communication: https://www.smh.com.au/national/qantas-flyers-see-red-over-chairman-s-lounge-snub-20210927-p58v7l.html

Qantas to permanently close QF HKG lounge

The HKG lounge was definitely better than a Qantas club and also better than the SYD J international lounge. There were also a number of HK based travellers (me included) who would choose to go to the QF lounge instead of the CX J lounge. Better quality food in the QF lounge and bar tenders who...

Qantas to permanently close QF HKG lounge

I believe that the QF lounges opened before there was a terminal connector between TBIT and T4. Unsure whether the connector was considered when planning the oneworld/QF lounges. Regardless, they’re technically different terminals so unlikely sending QF passengers to the AA lounges would have...

    Further Qantas Status Extension?

If anything, overseas members would be contributing more revenue to QF as the airline partners pay QF for the QF points awarded for travel.
