Not at all. Branches don't look at the documents or assess the application. They will forward them on though. You are much better uploading or emailing as part of the online application process.

I transferred last week, instant, as had done a transfer when they went from 1:1 to 2:1. Used existing points expiring today (on partners account as well) plus the transfer top ups, and have another 2 Europe returns for 2024. Pity I could never jag a RTW :(. Krisflyer on 2 accounts now sit at 0pts.

Where you’re going wrong is basically paying a surcharge on your spends, to accumulate points. You’re always going to come out even. Large Sign-on bonuses and refer a friend bonuses is where you used to get free points. Those days are long gone.

Mine was an ANZ bank transaction. That's my backup to 28 degrees, not the Amex. Amex should come to the party if you chat or call them

Due to points split across +1, I have to transfer more in, to get 2xEUR return and 2xASIA return. Uses them all up though. Availability is ordinary and you need to be flexible.

One of the significant issues now, is the lack of SQ Saver fare availability on all routes. I don't like your chances, but goodluck.
