Excessive status extensions felt hard this week. SYD Dom J lounge was absolutely packed on Wednesday evening to the point I couldn't find a seat and walked out after a couple of quick laps. Felt like more than 30% of flyers that evening were in the J lounge alone.

SYD DOM J lounge an absolute zoo this evening around 6pm. I did 2 loops looking for any relatively quiet seat before retreating back down to the calm of the terminal for 15mins.

Looking at my flightdiary history for Dash flights since making P1, I was 1A on both prior flights, and could select straight at OLCI if not already pre-assigned to row 1. Pretty sure they weren't full loads. Unless gazumped by a CL??

Checked into QF1447 at T-24hrs and was placed straight into 4A. Sitting on board now, and seems that row 1 is empty, and there's 4 people, each with a shadow, in the other 8 seats in row 2 and 3. I also didn't get a shadow (all good, not a published benefit), but a few empty seats behind me...
