    Issues with Titanium pass?

It is the same P1 passes issue with the Titanium passes. You cannot use them on JQ services. I have tried before and had it escalated, but no dice.

    Experiences on Qantas staff travel

For what it’s worth, if you are a group E beneficiary (or any beneficiary for that matter), you should not be able to monitor flight loads yourself. It is a condition of staff travel that a staff member cannot provide their username and password to any beneficiary. So even if you have been...

Multi city tool unable to confirm flights

I’ve also had your first error before too on a DUB-LHR-DFW-SYD itinerary. I tried on the phone to fix it and they gave me every excuse possible for why it was not bookable. I pushed back and in the end, they were able to book it and ticket it by assembling it backwards (ie they added MEL-PER...

Multi city tool unable to confirm flights

Could you break it up and do PER-HKG-SYD as one booking and the rest as a second booking? I’m not too sure if I understand what the benefit is of including all of it on one ticket when you are using a separate ticket between SYD and Europe anyway (other than having all taxes and surcharges...

    Jetstar Lounge Invitation Missing First?

They don’t accept them for the F lounge when on JQ flights. I know there are some parts of the website that say they do, but I’ve had this arm wrestle with them before on both the P1 passes and the titanium passes.

Partner airlines that require/do not require a ticket to be reissued

I believe it is the latter. madrooster posted in another thread recently saying that all partners require a reissue.

Qantas ruined our rewards booking 2 weeks before flying

If you accept a refund you can insist on them refunding the points immediately (the cash component might take longer). To get the points back, they will need to escalate it to the frequent flyer team and they may transfer you to that team, but as long as you insist they will do it. They did it...

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

This happened to me in the one of the three 2018 DSC offers. PNR and booking created before midnight but was ticketed after midnight. It ended up counting for DSCs.

Virgin Australian "Trade Sale" - who would be best?

Possibly. Yes they are foreign owned but there is a good chance that they do not have a single foreign controller (rather just a consortium of lots of Bain limited partners). If they had a single foreign controller, there is a chance foreign countries may not treat them as an Australian carrier...

Virgin Australian "Trade Sale" - who would be best?

I believe that if VA is to continue operating international flights, it cannot be majority owned by a foreigner. Which counts out SQ and NZ holding a majority investment.

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Does SYD-BLR (and presumably MEL-DEL) actually earn 112 each way with points club? If so, that seems like a major sweetspot (given that the only other routes which are 112 each way are LHR/CDG/FCO/JFK which are all significantly longer).

Invited to participate in a QF Loyalty Virtual Focus group

I participated in one of these focus groups at QF HQ this month. VH and Andrew Finch were both present in my session. And further to the posts above, fortunately my points were also credited on the same day as the session.

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

How does one actually change one of these bookings into a different itinerary? When I click change in mine, it only gives me the option of changing the date. Or do you need to cancel it to a flight credit and rebook with the flight credit?

General VA Lounge Discussion (2021 onwards)

Unfortunately no dice… It shows this screenshot… And then when I click View benefits, it just takes me to the generic Velocity page about the benefits associated with Silver. Looks like I might need to give them a call…

General VA Lounge Discussion (2021 onwards)

I just made it to Silver and I was wondering if there is any way to verify that I now have the two lounge passes on my account? I was hoping to make sure I had them before booking another flight for me and one other person (where I would use them)

    Qantas forgot to deduct points?

Have you got a ticket number starting with 081? If you do not, I would be calling back ASAP to make sure it has been ticketed (especially given it involves a partner airline and many have had experiences with those being cancelled if they are not ticketed).

I have flown in it twice in the past year. I really liked it but as some posts above alluded to, 11A was my preference.

New Ability to Purchase Single-Visit Lounge Passes

So you can see an option to purchase access to the first lounge?

Using AA Trip Credit on Qantas

Can you book a flight before its expiry for a flight after the expiry? I did this for an AA trip credit last year. It expired in May 2023 but I used it on a trip for December 2023. Had to call them to do it over the phone though.
