Also recently made it to Platinum, and enjoying the Economy X selection on flights. Didnt get to use the lounge in Syd much as i'm always tight on time before flights and where possible I use PP for a meal before flight (unlimited PP via Citi).

Been using paypal to pay AGL bill and they don't charge me the extra cc fees.

On a recent F Saver redemption to HKG, I used the Android App to search as it shows a lot more choices. However ended up booking thru phone, as I was adding a stopover in SIN (USD100). One-way Saver redemption, does not allow a stopover, but can be added at a cost.
