Lets talk about the 787 windows

Exactly. Same on overnight BA JFK to LHR - the cabin temp was so hot I couldn't sleep!

Lets talk about the 787 windows

I travelled on a 13-hour BA 787 flight a week ago which left LHR at 7pm and arrived at SIN at 4.15pm. The cabin was dark the whole time until 1 hour before landing. I don't think the windows were locked as one window was partly open (I was in an aisle seat). My question is: how can your body...

    Jury Duty

Same, VPS, longest 3 weeks of my life, all the way to Christmas Eve with a 1 year old at home. I would always choose a judge rather than a jury. Spent hours in the jury room trying to work through basic deductive reasoning with some of the jury. When it comes to criminal conviction, I want...

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Thanks, Lat34. That clears it up. The T&C of the flex fare were not clear to me on the Q site: "A cancellation fee of AUD $99 applies for bookings"? Maybe should read "A cancellation fee of AUD $99 applies for refunds" I thought that the $99 fee might apply to all flex cancellations but...

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

Yea, makes sense with a $174 flex. But either fare will allow change of route including dep/arr city and keep the PRN without having to refund to flight credit? (Sorry I think you just answered that as I posted)

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

I've spent hours reading posts but still can't work out why you need to book a flex fare in this situation - why not a cheaper red e-deal and pay the $99 change fee later if you need to? For example, BNE-SYD $169. Both fare types offer change and flight credit. Flex also allows you a refund...

    Baggage Allowance Question - QF/BA

Hi emilbulls If you're connecting straight through to VIE, you should be able to check in your full Qantas WP 60kg entitlement because QF is the "most significant carrier" (MSC) under IATA Resolution 302. See Things to know at...

Qantas extends current status Until at least March 2021

Haha, I was in the same boat, about to lose P status on 30 March for the first time in 3 years and miles off re-qualifying. I've spent the last month trying to convince myself that the normal Q Club wouldn't be so bad and that row 16 on 737's was better than row 25 or wherever it ends... Pity we...

Discussion/Q&A on Best QF Status Run Options

Re: Best Status Run Options - A quick overview! Thank you, everyone. This is my first posting, after AFF kept telling me to post and stop 'lurking'. I needed 160 SC to reach WP by 31/3, and have just booked a JASA: ADL-SYD-CBR-ADL for $141 + 48,000 points. Hopefully, this should give me my...
