just spoke to the Platinum line again , they are insisting now that lounge invites are unable to be linked to bookings for the LHR lounge atm due to restrictions in place.

Thanks Princess Fiona!. I did ring the premium line this morning and they couldn't fix it so they transferred me to a FF centre who said they couldn't fix it either and put me on a general queue until I gave up waiting

I have just returned from a J trip with QF travelling CBR -> MEL -> SIN (QF35) -> LHR (QF1) returning back by the same path (QF2, QF36 then on to CBR) On the outbound trip I was able to book a CD from home to CBR airport and from LHR to a hotel. On the way back I could book a CD from the hotel...

Re: QF Upgrade Success Rate Despite my wife and I both falling back to Gold this year we have had upgrades from Y+ to J on QF9 last month and QF10 today. Both came through at T-28. Still feeling the Qantas love.

Re: QF Upgrade Success Rate Our upgrades came through for QF18 on Tuesday at T-60. Then to agonize over seat selection, given 11A & B - too close to the toilets and bassinet perhaps. Re-read all the posts on 747 J seats and decide to move to row 14 instead. No wonder flying is stressful ðŸ

Re: QF Upgrade Success Rate Congrats Paul, we were on the same QF128 flight as you earlier in the year. We are also coming back on QF18 in Sep, hope we are not competing for the same upgrades again :)

Finished off with the rhubarb and brownie and a Noble One. After a massage, a great lunch and a few wines I feel like I can fly without the assistance of Qantas!
