    Lounge access LAX

Thanks for the suggestion, Not exactly safe to travel by car w/out car seats and as it'll be 11pm (Australia time) for us on arrival in lax my kids will be exhausted (read: miserable and will just want to sit quietly somewhere).

    Lounge access LAX

Husband and I are both velocity gold travelling with two young children (1 & 4) bne-lax-Bos soon on virgin Australia and virgin America (delta was not an option when we booked). It's my understanding VX is now same terminal as air Alaska, but we will not have access to air Alaska lounge (is...

    Va7 bassinet?

Thanks!!! And I was wondering the same about the proximity to the toilets Is 20 better than 21? Did you pay extra for space +? I haven't but these are the seats we requested before the official roll Out of the refurbished planes so hoping we don't lose the seats or have to pay when we check in.

    Lounge access: I'm confused

So I am VA gold traveling BNE-LAX Nov 20 on Virgin with my VA Silver husband and 2 kids (4years, 4mos). I think I read it right that the lounge we can access is Singapore lounge in BNE BUT that I only get 1 guest and my children are counted as guests? Does that mean we'd have to find someone to...

    VA 777 - best seats

is the 737 the normal 3/3 domestic virgin plane (sorry I don't know)? If so, I think there's more leg room in the 777 on the wall at row 20 is where the bassinets go, which are 36cm wide from the wall and then there's enough room to get up from your seat to get passed it (squeezing). The tvs...

    VA 777 - best seats

you have asked me previously about car seat, and that is not an option as we have booked 3 seats for 4 people. have been successful 4/4 flights in getting row 20 so confident in it. Just wasn't sure if new config row 21 is an upgraded economy will we lose out assignment. Probably I'm guessing.

    VA 777 - best seats

Thanks. Have done the journey in 20, 2x previously. The new config looks as though there will be a toilet in front of 21 ABC, can't imagine there would be a bassinet position on toilet wall? And I would not want to sit that closely to the toilet.

    VA 777 - best seats

So do we think in the new config that the front section of Econ will be Econ +? I have a return bne-LAX journey booked nov-Jan 2016/7 and already called to request row 20 (bulkhead/bassinet) as will be travelling with infant and little one. I was told row 20 is gone but new front row is 21...

Long haul upgrade me points with infant on booking?

The baby needs to be ticketed and the only way to do that is pay....(??) In 2012 we booked a trip Bne-LAX before my first was born then added the infant to the booking over the phone and paid around $250 (economy).

We are flying later this year with our child and soon to be infant. We've already purchased the 2 adults and 1 child tickets and after the baby is born will add him/her to the booking. We we want to try and get an upgrade on returning flight lax-Bne (booked in flexi Econ) to business class...
