Article: Why International Flights Are So Expensive Right Now

IMO the airlines were always going to try to increase revenue over passenger numbers. Simple basic business analysis, if you are starting from go, which realistically is what happened, then you buy the market share (to an extent) before you rebuild the profitability.

    Scams like these

I don't know if anyone else have experienced this. I have a Samsung Mobile which uses Smart Call which is used to identify spam callers. It usually works well but I have noticed lately the following calls from a site which scams Amazon saying we have debited $90 from your account. The number...

    What cheeses me off

People who simply stop in the entrance way of anything, blocking any one else from entering and are oblivious. MOVE OUT OF THE WAY.

    Is it Me

My last trip O/S was Utah and surrounds in the USA in March 2020, which was cut off by early departure due to a well publicized bug. Like many of us, international was gone but I am still finding hard to get enthused to re-engage given that the ongoing virus, and the issue in Ukraine is causing...

    2022 travel plans

We just want to visit our son in Queensland. All double vaxxed, such a massive failure in this country for co-ordination between states for domestic visitors to visit love ones

    Canyons & Covid-19

It's funny, when I was doing the White Pocket tour a discussion came up about Road Runners and how they were regularly spotted out there, however they don't go Meep Meep :)

    Canyons & Covid-19

I was also there in 2015, I agree Bryce & Zion are much more visually spectacular than the GC, but I think that is because they are not as vast. To me White Pocket was amazing, so fluid and mind blowing, everywhere you looked was something different, and it was right under your feet.

    Canyons & Covid-19

So Journey ended. No QP available to waste some time in LA. QF 12 had been downsized from an A380 to a 787-9. Only 55 economy passengers on board, so effectively everyone had a lie flat bed when you folded up the arm rests. I grabbed seven hours sleep on the way home which is a first for me, I...

Spectacular contrast of colour in the different rock formations, and the light was perfect to pick up the different hues.

    Canyons & Covid-19

I had heard that it could get pretty crowded here, however was not too bad that time of day, about a 15 minute hike to reach the viewpoint.

    Canyons & Covid-19

I had two days before I was due to fly out, and I had made the decision to avoid Vegas and drive to LA which was about a seven hour drive. Accordingly I would leave tomorrow, stay one night in LA, before flying home that night. Accordingly I had one last destination, Horseshoe Bend. It would be...
