Walked on broken glass on plane

Seems like the one cabin crew who blamed the OP for not wearing shoes shares the same opinion ... Damn you OP for daring to bleed, and being inconvenient to the the cabin crew and cleaners with his haemoglobin-laden effusions! For the worst of cabin crew, life would be perfect if only PAX...

    Oneworld separate ticket interline changes

LHR-LAX is AA marketed, LAX-SYD-BNE is QF marketed: so it's QF310 on itinerary (but boarding passes may have both the operating airline flight number and marketing...eg "AA73, sold as QF310")

    Oneworld separate ticket interline changes

I have questions on interline with a single airline: in December I am doing LHR-LAX on AA109 landing LAX @ 1500, then getting QF310 (AA73) LAX-SYD departing 2240 (then on to BNE). The LHR-LAX and LAX-SYD-BNE are separate bookings. I know I have plenty of time if I have to get bags and fight the...

Overview of Best Qantas Status Run Options [not the discussion thread]

I have to get LAX-NYC in one day in November, so: LAX-TUS(or SLC)-DFW-LGA. 10am departure, arrival 1024pm 40-90-120 SC for 250 for US$583 ($2.33/SC) (could have added extra sector somewhere for slightly less $/SC eg LAX-TUS-DFW-CLT-LGA (290@$2.27), but would need to catch 6am or 620am flight...

The Work experience has been at it again...

Wonder if we want a thread for those silly little mess-ups we can ascribe to the work experience at QF? Flying SIN-SYD on BA (economy plus), then SYD-BNE on QF (after arriving CMB-SIN on UL) So the good news was a) the op-up on the SYD-SIN (on BA) a couple of weeks ago, and b) the text message...

Life Time Gold - The [Realistic] Holy Grail

[insert fungiform papillae in buccal cavity] We should of course not be cynical of QFFs commitment to rewarding loyalty in being wary of the "*", nor should we laugh hysterically at the understatement inherent in "The Qantas Frequent Flyer Program benefits may change from time to time". [remove...

2016 The Hancock Year of Hell

no, no shame attached for Sir Tony to say he shares the pain of most of us, in earning a significant proportion* of his SCs in economy (* "significant proportion" is defined, from the same lexicon as "Enhanced", or "Simpler & fairer")

LAX TBIT connector open. Great for QF to AA

Don't know where other connectors are, but showers and food was exactly why I went to Oneworld J lounge in TBIT! There was no security on the walkway today (in either direction).

2016 The Hancock Year of Hell

I STILL giggle every time I see those horses with lamps stuck in their heads. "Eccentric" is a kind description. "Laughing all the way to the bank since we convinced BA those dodgy horse lamps no-one wanted are artistic" is another.

LAX TBIT connector open. Great for QF to AA

Just used it, arrived into remote terminal from DEN-LAX (landed 1245pm local). Next flight is AA73 from terminal 4 at 950pm. Have some work to do but don't want to spend all day in T4! So easy. No added security, and now ensconced in the business lounge: FAR nicer than admiral's in T4. Then a...

Points not deducted for seat selection

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... We appreciate how much our members approve of all the enhancements to Qantas, and how much Simpler & Easier it is to calculate points and SC earns. Of course we know you all like the pricing of seat choices, and understand the never ending costs that...
