Does anyone have any experience with ANZ suspending or cancelling rewards awarded in the past even though credited to your rewards account? on the basis of business expenditure?

My last experience at BKK was with JQ30 departing from gate C9 whilst the Qantas Club Lounge is at Gate E1-5. This is a 20minute walk b/w the lounge and gate? Was this a one off or has JQ been dumped for QF/EK taking its usual gate at E9? The current arrangement is way too far!
