Thanks @Dr Ralph, I’m not sure if there is an issue with a family members Everyday rewards account. Had a precious policy but not getting offered 10k points. Hence my concern. I will compare account numbers in the morning to ensue they match and it’s not another duplicate account (we had a...
Thanks @Dr Ralph I had the same box just with only 5000 EDR reward points. I’ve read through most (as I may have missed a comment or 2 along the way of the 6 pages. But sure, I’ll read through them again and find the missing piece of information…
Has anyone been on today to try and purchase a policy? Is there now a lower offer of only 5,000 EDR points or is it just the policy types I have been searching?
Possibly the $92 is the figure that they charge Accor plus for the night. It’s an internal accounting thing. I’ve read of this occasionally occurring when an inexperienced staff member doesn’t fully understand the process.
I think I’ve spoken to that agent! I asked if they were working from home and they said “yes and I live on a farm”. Crazy stuff. I’m glad you have progress
Bummer. Hopefully it helps others following along.
I’ve also had success claiming DSC on flights purchased during the booking window using gift vouchers that were about to expire (purchased well before the booking window).
Definitely worth trying your luck @Flyrner!
I used a gift voucher (purchased during booking window) as part payment for flights also purchased during the booking window and received the DSC. The flights were taken in late April.
I think I preferred last year when we couldn't log on but could see what was available. There was time to search options whilst they restored access to the website.
If there are business reward seats on the flight, I would cancel the request and try again. I had this happen a few months ago. When I requested the upgrade the second time it went through immediately. It might have been a glitch. YMMV
I didn’t have any issues with payment taking longer than usual but I did have issues with upgrading the ticketed flights.
Trying to do so online it said it wasn’t eligible for upgrade so I just called and had the upgrade put through by the helpful agent.
It might be worth a call to get it...
I was hoping this too. This is how they handle gift vouchers. Not knowing what changes have been made and how they will handled in their system, only time will tell.
Sounds interesting, do you have a picture and/or link?
sounds like the nanopresso with the double shot adaptor (which I already have), a small grinder, plus something like this might make a complete travel kit.
I’ve used it both with the Nespresso Pod adaptor and without. Using pods is certainly neater when travelling.
It makes a decent enough coffee (depends on pods/ground coffee you use) and saves being at the mercy of local coffees which are not to your taste.
The only hassle is (occasionally in...
that’s interesting! Perhaps hold gift vouchers and load prior to use. My point was not doing all the steps on the same day.
I heard a case where someone did that and were overseas with LE requesting card details or they would cancel the deal booked as it flagged in their system.
