"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Could it be a point of origin issue? Does it show up as available in a multi-city search originating in Australia, or only when searching for that flight on it's own? This can be a similar effect to taxes and fuel surcharges being calculated differently for different origins.

    Qantas Wine latest offering

I think I have been missing out on a number of offers, including birthday offers and hotel vouchers, despite being opted-in to every category in my FF account. But I must have opted out of Qantas Red Emails for that email address, which are managed separately. Having now opted back in, I am...

Qantas Future Planet - Great way to activate eligible QF Spending on Credit Cards

I did this earlier this month and it worked fine - $10 ($5 each for two) appeared on my Qantas Amex Ultimate as "QANTAS AIR AUSTRALIA" and triggered the lounge passes, which appeared in my Qantas account the next working day (which was a few days later after a long weekend). Incidentally, a...

Amex Travel Qantas flights more expensive than other sources

I've had the same problem over the last week. The $99+ "sale" fares on Qantas showed up on google searches and on other OTAs, but not Amex, with those same flights often being $160. I've given up for now, but only have a few weeks left to use up a couple of credits. Today Qantas have a new sale...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

I cancelled an OWA for 2 people about 2 weeks ago, and I was told 10 weeks for both points and taxes. So far I haven't seen anything other than the reservation disappearing. (On srilankan.com I can retrieve the reservation, and it just has a dummy flight from QZW to QZY)

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Thanks, DC3. I got through to someone in Auckland this morning who knew what they were doing and was able to add back in the KA and CX flights that had dropped off through lack of ticketing yesterday, but said it would take a long time to sort out reconstructing the taxes. 8 hours later I got...

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

I have successfully added a Cathay Dragon (KA) flight to an OWA today - but it was part of a married pair with a CX flight.

"oneworld" award (132.4K/249.6K/318K/455K) Planning - The Definitive Thread

Thanks for the sympathy, @DC3 . I have had a very helpful NZ consultant sort out problems and get a ticket reissued within minutes (without me holding on for it), but I never seem to get any call centre other than SA recently.

I hope you don't have any CX flights! I added some this morning and was refused the chance to wait on the phone for ticketing but promised it would be pushed through. Six hours later still no ticket and the CX flights have dropped from the itinerary. It is so frustrating trying to book these...

How long does an International Drivers Licence last?

There was a change to Florida law earlier this year that made an IDP compulsory, as reported in the UK's Independent in February, but it will not now be enforced: Quote: Last month Florida's legislature broke ranks with the other 49 American states and made it mandatory for overseas visitors to...

LHR T5 Galleries access denied for additional child guest

My daughter (11) has just received an email entitled "Exciting news and offers for families" suggesting that she enrol her children for free before the end of May. It also has this to say about lounges (with a link to those new guidelines): Improvements to the Qantas Lounge Access Policy for...
