Has anyone received SCs for a QF comfort seat recently? Have been trying to organise one to get my wife some extra SCs but was told they only earn points. I can find references on here and ABT about them earning SCs, but difficult to find any other info from QF.

No you can't. Both times I've been on a QF flight number they've made a very big deal of that when entering the lounge. It was almost weird.
