Didn't see any announcements about the lounge program in today's results??

If end of 2024 for Auckland they will need to get cracking very soon to complete the project by that date as it will be a good 12 months of renovations I'm guessing. Maybe we will get an update on Thursday with the results announcements??

Do we have any updates on the progress of the lounge refurbishment program including the Auckland lounge? Surely someone has some insights they can share with the group

I think you've summarized it very well exactly what's going on!

I think its more to do with no flight or cabin crew to operate the aircraft. Its pretty disappointing considering other airlines have been able to get their A380's back & operating alot quicker. Melbourne always seems to get shafted!

Just flown on two flights this week (B737) both aircraft’s didn’t have the new safety video loaded.

Geez hopefully they will be flying long before midyear as its a very expensive wait having brand new aircraft empty with just doing training flights without earning revenue.

OQB is already in service. Its OQA & OQC which are still yet to re-enter service. OQL also needs to go in for a refurb at somestage also.

Also remember OQJ (which has been already refurbished) is having its major check done in AUH currently so there is a total of 3 in AUH currently.

Thanks mate! They are going to need to get moving ASAP if they want some of these lounges completed by Mid 2024 as communicated by Qantas!
