It would have been better if status credits didn't expire on the anniversary. I'm 10 points short of making gold this year. First time for a few years that I've been this close and now will struggle to even get one flight between now and end of May

Good question, the soft product for BA is great but the hard product for CX is better. Im leaning towarda CX but i haven't flown BA for 2 years now and I heard they've made some further improvements. Eitherway you cant go wrong. Enjoy

There's a new 5* Pullman hotel just opened up near the airport, just past the Holiday Inn on the way to Mascot station. They offer a shuttle bus for $7 each way, I was emailed a really cheap deal just last week, $220 including buffet breakfast. First class breakfast too

DOH - FRA is now an A380. We were on that flight just a couple of weeks back in J. The QSuite though is amazing and, for my family, would be hard to fly anything else now that we've experienced it. Going from the Qusite to the QR A380 in J, felt like a downgrade to PE

Just found this for MEL to CDG flying in J on Hainan Airlines for September to October 2019. $3215 in J is cheap. Haven't checked what their product is like yet.

That's a good price. CX are really discounting their J tickets lately. I just hope the keep it up for another month or so until my dates become available.

We did, this time last year we flew SYD HKG SYD booked in PE using a Qantas family and friends sale.Requested an upgrade to J using points and it came through. Cant remember how many points it cost but can look it up if you're interested. I was traveling with my family of 4.

The price is simular to fly to CGK to CDG at the moment. Im hanging out for a deal like this that lines up with my dates for next year.
