My account has been cleared and the suspension lifted. I didn't have to provide any info to VA, no stat decs, no questions answered... in fact not even a cold generic email to say that all was ok. Bizarre.

If I've been deemed to have breached the T&Cs then I'll take the punishment on the chin. As an update, lounge access was no problem this morning. Even had the lounge angels do a fly ahead for the return flight this afternoon.

Interesting... I've had my account suspended as well and I've been assured twice over the phone that I can still use the lounge. Will find out tomorrow morning.

I tried the Pork & Apple snags this week, they were really good. I went back for another pack this morning but they've sold out.

I live bayside near the flight path. I've always found the A380 to be much quieter than the B744 that we get around the same time (QF8).

Most cost effective, camping. Other than that you could always commute from Gracemere/Rockhampton/Miriam Vale/Agnes Waters.

I believe the Boeing media run last year (that some AFF members were fortunate enough to be involved with) was a direct flight from PAE to SYD on its initial leg.
