I heard this exact statement (or rumour) from the wife of a QF pilot, back when JQ first placed the 787 order. Could be much like how the A332s were transferred from JQ over to QF.

No comp upgrades in the last 24 months as a P1. But 2 successful upgrades recently: QF72 SIN PER flex Y to J, notified 7 days out. And QF82 SIN SYD saver Y to J, notified 48 hours out.

They are starting to change the times back again – it’s just to trigger the check of minimum connect times

For anyone that knows the answer: Now that the SST has dissolved... Who looks after complimentary upgrades, special requests, reward seat requests etc premium line was unhelpful and provided no insight when I tried to request an award seat “platinum one team doesn’t exist anymore”
