Sorry to revive an old thread...but is this fee waiver still in place? The Oz call centre wants to charge me 90AUD for 2 x awards that could not be booked on aa.com. I need to pay today before they go off hold...can anyone confirm? Thanks

I've had a 773 (1-2-1 seating) BNE-BKK, which I thought had a great J product (including fully flat bed). On the flip side the return was F in a 747 to SYD, which had plenty of space but is pretty dated. If you ever see the 773 available I would go for it...but of course there is no guarantee...

Yes it can be a challenge, but just go with. In my experience, if you let the mighty dragon swallow you whole, then there's a chance you'll come out the other end in one piece.

That was my experience. I think it was the 3rd of the month that I dropped back.

You should be able to select your own seats via the CX website using your booking reference number. You don't need to be Marco Polo member to do so either, which is handy.

I agree. I used to do MEL - Mildura quite a bit back in the day and I have done my dash (sorry) on the Dash 8. Having said that, the Dash 8 is luxury compared to the Saab that did the same journey.

Back when we could book MASAs online, I finalised the booking and then called the premium line to make the fees payment in AUD. Did it 3 or 4 times without issue.

Has redemption to South and Central Asia ticked up a little? It's the same as North Asia (70/90/120) and I seem to remember it being slightly less.
