Heavy rain in Sydney brought things to a standstill again. This flight and others had a couple of failed attempts to land. I was stuck on QF645 which was delayed due to inbound flight, a cargo door sensor, then the rain which had us held just short of the runway.

I had my first flight cancellation yesterday after 120 QF flights over the past two years. A lucky streak based on others experiences. QF2019 SYD-ARM cancelled, notified by text which included details of hotel and allowance.

I’m still showing up as a diamond elite despite not meeting requirements to maintain status. Room upgrade and free breakfast this week in Canberra.

Accor chat confirmed that 20 status nights are credited for all Explorer memberships, including Business Explorer. Can anyone confirm through their experience when signing up to Business Explorer? May as well get an additional 5k QFF points but benefit not listed on website.
