No, I think the Z alert is definitely good, the flight back just had no Z (points upgrade) made available, I think they only gave seats out to upgrade me bids. Expert flyer was showing Z available on the way to LAX which made me realise I needed to do one way searches only on Virgin Australia...

Returned from LAX last Wednesday to SYD and luggage took 45 mins to come out, had priority tags but plenty were coming out before. Priority has worked everywhere else for me though so I just assumed it was a LAX airport packing the bag thing, but sounds like its random.

I already paid for preferred seats for my flights in November as didn't want to pay even more for the economy comfort :(

Hi, just a quick question. If I use my platinum reserve card to book some accomodation that charges me in foreign currency, do I get 2 points per dollar for accom and 2 points per dollar for foreign currency spend? ie 4 points in total?
