So I signed up for this a few weeks back - I've received the bonus points, but only 90,000 - not the 120,000 as promised. (should equate to 60,000 Velocity points). Anyone have any ideas about what's gone wrong?

231 with a pretty hefty 2 hour delay tonight. Looked at app and seat 11D opened up. Lounge sent me to transfer desk to change, chap at desk made a call, and the person he spoke to blocked the seat so I couldn’t have it. Unreal

I’ve never seen a lock out of seat selection on any airline before. UA, VA or QF let you select right up to checkin

I’m flying J on Wednesday evening from BNE-SIN. I’ve just opened the booking to see what seats are available, but it’s saying it can’t be done? Is this normal?

In a strange twist – with my status renewed a few days ago, I was curious to see if the upgrades still showed. Bit surprised to see this.

I’ve managed to do it. Best bet is to be flexible about your departure and arrival airports. Secured J awards ex Brisbane and returning to Sydney in April (booked in late Jan). Adelaide also has good availability if you can make that work.
