I have stayed a total of around 2 weeks at the Conrad Koh Samui and my advice would be to just stay at the hotel and make the most of it, especially if you're only there for 4 days. The Conrad is really quite remote and it's a decent drive to get anywhere. Koh Samui is not exactly a fun place...

Personally I reckon the IC and the Ritz Carlton have the best club lounges in Singapore. I did not like the Conrad's at all.

Not exactly addressing the OP's question but answering on KL hotels generally in case it's useful for anyone: +1 to the Grand Hyatt recommendation. It is close to brand new, modern, great location, good service, the view from the lobby is spectacular... and certainly one of the best options out...

Are you travelling alone / with partner / with kids? The Quincy is ok and pretty good value for money but the rooms are very small and really designed for solo travellers.
