    Vinomofo Wine Deals

I've been trying to work this one out.. BLACK MARKET DEAL Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 - Vinomofo 2010 Cab Sav from the Barossa with a Winery price of $100. I know that they like to inflate it a bit to make the savings look bigger.. Any ideas?

RSA in Qantas Lounge - asking for ID?

At most QP's that I visit I have to swipe my WP card under the scanner to show that I am there. That provides a very quick service and I hate carrying boarding passes if I can at all avoid it. A few times I've tried walking into ADL and PER QP's without scanning, but everytime I am stopped and...

J Class Red-Eye Perth to Sydney

I'm putting the significant other on the Red Eye PER-SYD on their way to the states next week. I can see that will be the start of a very long and very horrible journey for them. I am of the opinion that any multi flight journey is set by the first of the flights and how that goes. On a recent...

Qantas new 737-800 Fleet Review (Brief)

I must admit that I didn't really notice the Air Bag Seat Belts being uncomfortable. I do fly a bit and in varied aircraft around the world, so I guess it has to be really uncomfortable to annoy me. The Mechanism is a little different and certainly more bulky, but not what I would call...

Qantas new 737-800 Fleet Review (Brief)

I didn't put any bags in the over head bins, but I did see a few people that I frequently travel with and they mentioned a little more room, if only slighty. I did notice that there was a little more standing room and the over head controls were a little further out of my reach than normal...

Qantas new 737-800 Fleet Review (Brief)

Hi, this might be in the wrong place or previously covered. I did a search, but didn't find anything, so I am putting this in here. Feel free to (re)move. I seem to luck out and get on Qantas 737-800's (738) everywhere I go, sure I do fly intra-state cattle haulers so the 738 and 717 fleet is...

Advice on best use of points

After speaking with a lot of other WP's, we have discussed what we do to get upgrades more often. Here is what we seem to put down to increasing your chances of an upgrade. Select your seats online as early as possible and select a seat as far forward as possible Do not check in online...

Next Generation Check-in Regional Implementation Begins

I fly through PHE fortnightly and KTA quarterly. The Q card reader in KTA speeds up the process only slightly, as most people check in online. It is baggage drop at both airports that is the slow process. Q tag enabled bag drop service would be fantastic.

Platinum "anytime" lounge Access ceases from 1 February 2011

For the second time in my 13 years with Qantas I will want to use the QP without flying on Qantas. The first time was in December when I was in LAX after my Qantas flight was delayed some 5 hours, missing my connecting Qantas flights, so I subsequently booked Delta to get where I needed to...

If Mark (Webber) wins, you win, competition from QF

Although testing does not provde true results in this "don't let them see what you really have" environment that is the top level of all forms of racing with limited testing, these days. I think that the RBR will be a contender. The thing that might hold him back is that everyone else is pushing...

    Bullet Train - Japan

I doubt that you will get enough benefit out of the rail pass in that time, you'd have to be doing a LOT of travel within the cities on JR trains to make up for it. Also it is a bit inconvenient. Also on the Rail Pass you can not take the Nozomi. Get a SUICA card from Narita, you can get an...

    Rage alarms for airline staff.....

I am not sure why they say the mining workers are the worst in the terminals (in air definitely the worst). They are the ones most used to the new check in systems. Recently the biggest problem seems to be eldery passengers and those that travel infrequently that get the most frustrated. On my...

Thank you for the kind welcome

Yeah just waiting until I can get the time off to fly around and use them. I don;t see any point in upgrading my work flights for such short hauls. Considering doing the Classic reward redemption then trasnferring the flights into my partners name as she is living in another country at the...

If Mark (Webber) wins, you win, competition from QF

Registered as well. I don't like the idea of it being as airy as it is. Too many unknowns. Then again, I am into extreme sport.

Hello there. Firstly let me say thank you for the opportunity to possibly become a part of your community. I have been reading this website for some time now, but never registered until now. I've been a QFF member for a long time, joining back in 1998. I fly mostly to the less desirable...
