Yeah AirNZ worked out the cheapest by far. I called Qantas and they charge by kg, 25kg = $175. Virgin said I would have to book 3 saver/flexi seats to take 3 bags or book premium which allows 69kg, then the operator suggested since they share NZ flights I should just book through the NZ website...
