Is SQ going to upgrade its older A380s to the new suite config? I've mostly been getting the new suites but notice that it the same handful of A380s by aircraft registration.

Snooping at the the flight managers ipad on boarding last night i saw VIP passenger numbers it listed in descending order CIP, CL, P1, P etc onboard. I was with my boss who is CL but was interested in what would you have to do to be considered CIP by Qantas? does anyone have any idea?

its a shame. liked building points with this. Love going to Sake, so with paying with a Qantas linked CC used to get points 3 ways!

Quick question - how long does it take to have the points and status credits added to your QFFF account? I'm starting to wonder if i need to claim missing points as it was 5 days ago whilst QF sectors are same day or next at the latest.

i think they are targetted. I seem to get them when my activity takes a dip.

I'm LTG and am starting to rethink QFF. i usually easily make Plat (last year just over 2k status credits) but little chance of Platinum 1. Do alot of dom Y travel so the ability of platinums to easily get exit row was a big plus (loved row 14 on 738s) for me but now gone, so rethinking? AM high...

No it was the flight going Sydney to Perth that was the upgrade. The paid exit row seating was Perth to Sydney (return leg) My thought is that by going on and doing a seat selection for that upgraded flight nay have impacted the seat selection for the other flight, even though i made no changes...

2 months ago flew from shanghai and was dreading the awful downstairs lounge to find i was being sent to the new lounge. the lounge was very crowded but about 800x better than the 19B awful lounge.
