    Thanks for the insights - I haven't booked as yet as trying to go MEL>TPE>ICN return - so Qantas website doesn't bring the flights up - tried both multi city and regular - so I was looking at booking direct on the China Airlines website (which would be a CI58 booking)

    It is - has a codeshare (CI58 / QF8727) - so I just claim with my boarding pass after I've travelled? It mentions to enter ff at time of booking - so just concerned if there's no ff # attached and I try to claim after travelling they might reject it?
