It is common and having two gates out isn't an excuse. Particularly when the SYD CEO keeps saying they are not full.....

The issue is if everyone brings on thier 'allowance', even if bags go under the seat, there is not enough space. Maybe on the Boeing Sky Interior aircraft you have a better change. Same issue in the US - the carry on allowances exceed the actual limited space in the overhead lockers.

I am pretty annoyed by this too. As a regular on Booktopia, the fact I didn't need to log into my FF account, then go to the shopping, then select the website was a time saver. I will now forget to to that and probably will just give up. As usual, making something harder is a real deterrent.

Any sort of charter as a rescue flight at short notice is not practical. The amount of legal approvals, government approvals and overflight clearances are enormous. Even Vamos covering NZ flights would have taken 6 months to get to the point where it could legally operate. I feel for the...
