Hertz not crediting since November to velocity?

Still waiting on my points to post since Dec 2011. Contacted them in Jan and they said it was applied and to wait 4-6 weeks for it to show, now its 7 I've sent them another email.

    Qantas and "Priority Baggage"

I was in a similar situation a couple of days ago and as I was about to disembark the aircraft they sent me a txt message informing me that my bag didn't catch my flight and that it would be on the next flight and that I should call the baggage centre/line up in BNE. Don't know whether it would...

    Building a stronger Qantas

On the upgrades on code-share (oneworld) partners: Maybe oneworld will bring out something similar to Star Alliance and their Upgrade Awards, allowing pax to upgrade on various airlines within oneworld using QFF points? One can hope.

    JT is quietly going

Finally! I liked the safety video that was in circulation prior to the JT one but I wouldn't mind if they made a new one similar to the emirates inflight safety video.

ANZ booking on QF to earn with Velocity

[If lounge access in ZQN is your main priority] I was traveling on a QF flight out of ZQN and whilst there is no QPUB there, the lady at the checkin counter gave me a piece of paper that granted me access to the Koru club, QF must have an arrangement with NZ there. I'm not sure if they give it...

Lunch invitation for the Qantas Corporate Travel Show in Canberra: Are you coming?

Re: Lunch invitation for the Qantas Corporate Travel Show in Canberra: Are you coming I got one as well. I'm not sure what the criteria is, i'm a CBR based SG but it was mostly earned through leisure travel on disc economy.

Virgin Australia Brisbane Lounge to open – Invitation to AFF Velocity members to view

Re: Virgin Australia Brisbane Lounge to open – Invitation to AFF Velocity members to Very good timing for my trip to BNE in early August.

    Options to Queenstown, NZ?

If you decide to fly QF from ZQN back to AUS make sure you book it via QF's NZ booking engine (admittedly you can't book AUS - ZQN through Qantas NZ). The currency exchange and the overall price is a lot better through qantas.co.nz

    24 August 2011 - any predictions?

I am not looking forward to the new changes as based on QF postering and previous posts there will be less QF flights INTL & possible change of INTL hub from SIN - KUL. My preference would be to fly QF metal everywhere as the service standard from other OW airlines aren't at the same service...

New Next Gen Card and Bag Tags have arrived!

I've been following this thread loosely, and sorry if this has already been predicted before; With all of the Qfuture developments - particularly check-in/baggage I'm surprised that it has stopped at landside. Yes there is the facility to utilise the Q chip card at the boarding gate but...

Qantas Introduces New Domestic Fares and Further Frequent Flyer Enhancements

I had the same question; Looking at the website link provided by post #42 the FAQ PDF states the fare conditions will remain the same unless you change the ticket post 7 JUL but frequent flyer changes (disc / full economy + upgrades) will be effective from travel on the 7 JUL onwards.

New Next Gen Card and Bag Tags have arrived!

Just like priority boarding. Honestly, I wouldnt waste money on tags which at the end of the day take no more than 30 seconds to print a baggage tag - particularly when you have the security of something that isn't IT based.

New Next Gen Card and Bag Tags have arrived!

Yeah I know. What concerned me also was during my last flight I used my PS Q Chip card during boarding and it printed out that I was PS QC. I'm a SG but have yet to receive my SG Q Chip Card; what it suggests about the system is that its not all entirely wired up to check the main database when...

New Next Gen Card and Bag Tags have arrived!

From simply a visual perspective, the bag tags will not designate whether or not the baggage is flying Priority, however, it should be scanned inbound at placed at the front along with the other normal labelled bags. I can't state whether this is fully implemented yet though.

What changes do you want to see to Virgin Australia/Velocity?

Re: How could Virgin Australia be even better? I would like to see more lounges in regional ports serviced by VA. Understanding QF, Jetstar and QFLink have a majority of traffic to some regional ports, maybe they could setup joint regional lounges (with REX, Skywest etc) to make the venture...

QF Joyce: expect higher fares, A380 delivery delays, QF32 damage bill at AUD100m

Re: Qantas CEO Comments make the news... thoughts? Maybe all of this talk by Joyce is getting everyone (Shareholders, Staff) ready for some big changes? Sadly I think this would be in the form of 'enhancements'. Hopefully QF doesn't become like AA by trying to compete against the new VA.

Domestic & International Seat Selection now has exit rows

QF NB (with QPUB) I have a flight to the states leaving this Sunday but was able to select my seating arrangement on all legs more than seven days out (selected on 30 Mar). When I chose to select I could pick the exit rows at a cost of $160. I don't know if it would stop you actually purchasing...

New Next Gen Card and Bag Tags have arrived!

I don't think it matters whose tag it belongs to. When you go to submit the bag in the injector it will correlate the serial number of the bag tag to your flight details. On the Qantas website (in FAQ for NGCI) it says you can lend your tags out to your family/friends and they can use it like...
