I had this offer this morning, not only for an early December domestic Syd-Melb return but also for a discounted economy Syd-Frankfurt return later in the month. Unfortunately did not have enough points for the latter.

I'm with Tim B. I love European winters. Spending this Xmas/New Year in Berlin then off to Copenhagen and Malmo, Sweden for a couple of weeks. I know I'm getting too old for those Berlin NYE type celebrations but it is sometimes hard to let go of our youthful past.

He probably got the same discounted offer for Gold as I did when I joined last week.:D

This looks likes the best thread to make the first post! Been a long time lurker on this forum and have taken some valuable advice from the posters here. Hope to be able to contribute some of my own in the future.
