upstairs is closed on Mondays / when the lounge is quiet. they do it because it costs money to have people up there serving food etc when there's heaps of room downstairs. Brissy overflow lounge is the same.

Generally 1A allocation for every flight regardless of fare type that was booked. Pax in 1A are moved. Escorts to and from the gates etc

I've noticed on 4 flights this week, FA's are not standing guard to prevent the lower class passengers bumrushing the business class suits before they can amble their way up the airobridge and into the terminal. Thank god. Seems like sanity has taken over. Anyone else seen the same? Well...

downside: screening agents call people over from the standard line into the priority xray. Means i cant walk straight through and have to wait behind a person NOT GOOD ENOUGH! :p
