Damn, had flights BNE to LAX leaving 10 June and returning 24 June booked this week with new seat map, and now changed back to original seat map.

Just received a survey from Virgin Australia asking opinions on varying member benefits for Platinum members. Very interesting to see some of the things they are considering including lifetime Gold and Platinum Status, an additional higher tier etc. and what the outcome will be over the coming...

Re: Lounge Access for Virgin Platinum flying Hawaiian Airlines $700. Much cheaper than buying a business class fare. You are taking a risk that there will be no seats available but was lucky on this occasion.

Re: Lounge Access for Virgin Platinum flying Hawaiian Airlines I upgraded to Hawaiian Airlines Business Class when the online checkin opened 24 hours before the flight. Business class passengers have access to the Qantas Business lounge in Brisbane.

On flights like Brisbane to Sydney the sooner you check for an upgrade the better, but rarely do I have a problem getting an upgrade as long as you are flexible with flights.

I was talking to FA on Adelaide to Brisbane yesterday regarding them finally getting rid of the old Emirates birds, and she stated that she normally flys on the A330's and was happy to see XFA and XFB being retired. She went on to say that the 777's were getting new Business Class Seating...

The FQTR on my reservations are only showing on my flights to the US and not on Australian flights I have booked. All sectors on my itinerary in the US show FQTR including those with Delta. I am platinum.

Does it matter if anyone copies anything as long as the standard is raised. Don't fly qantas so don't really care what they do. And yes there is scrambled eggs and bacon at breakfast.
