    My experience is that checkin only opens 3 hours prior so you won't have any luck at the airport. Only sure option is ITCI and take the Airport Express train. I've always found Lounges in HK strictly enforce the rules on guests.

    Another slight tweak is to keep using your QFF number, get your boarding pass - your QFF status will give you a better seat allocation. And then get your number changed to AA in the Qantas Club.
