My luggage mostly comes from Myer. They seem to constantly have deals like 40% off for luggage, and stock well known brands like Samsonite and Antler.

As the flights are direct SYD-TSV and return, they are not great SC earners - 15 SCs one way for discount Y, 60 for J. While the Y seats are cheap at $129 for red-e deals, there are no bargains in J - $1051 one way. There are cheaper ways to earn SCs.

Re: Hong Kong ideas I can recommend the ferry to/from Ngong Ping, I have done it in the reverse direction, from Ngong Ping to Central. Very scenic bus trip from Ngong Ping village to Mui Wo along the south shore of Lantau, then ferry to Central.
