EK & QR: CRK/MNL to Europe (with Qatar Stopover) Business for $3.5K AUD up

Yeah, I looked at Oman air too, good point. For me the QR flight times worked best, but using Doha as a base to get to UAE and Oman isn't ideal, but it works.

EK & QR: CRK/MNL to Europe (with Qatar Stopover) Business for $3.5K AUD up

So I was needing to get to Europe (UK & Central/Eastern Europe) but start in the Philippines, so started playing with dates. I'm flying our later this month, and back 2.5 weeks later. I ended up flying from CRK and back to CRK, as the savings compared to MNL were significant on certain days...

    AY RTW Sale

Ideally I'd like to use this fare with USA to Europe, the Dubai (or nearby) and back to Australia (via Asia if needed), anyone know if this is possible?

Thailand Test & Go & Bangkok in Feb 2022

Philippines is interesting. I've been there twice this year so far, and back again in 4 weeks. My first trip (at the time of this post), things were quiet and still felt restricted in Manila, but out of Manila things were fairly normal. On my last trip, 4 weeks ago, things had loosened up...

I've now done Test and Go (and hence Thai Pass) twice. First time with the AXA local cover just to be careful and the second time I used my annual cover. My aussie cover had no issues. There is a page in the cover (about 10 pages in) that specifically mentions COVID-19 cover, but I couldn't...

Qantas "Choose your reward" Promo. Select from Double Status Credits OR Double Points [book 25/3/22-1/4/22]

So I booked a MEL-SYD-MNL return for next month 48 hours ago in J. It's now $300 cheaper and DSC, can I just do a credit for the booking (lose the cancelation fee maybe), but then rebook it? Will I get the DSC?

Well that makes life difficult doesn't it, especially with less flights available and connections needed. As you say, hopefully in the next few months this opens up.

Yeah, I figured they would, hence why airside should be fine.

No idea if you'll get lucky and restrictions are eased. Best case if they are not, you'd have to stay airside for 8 hours between flights.

We can live in hope! I'm back again at the end of April, but I think I'll be going through it again. I'll choose SGS this time I think.

When you apply for Thai Pass there is an option for insurance then, I just took that up to make it simple. It wasn't expensive as I recall.

I doubt it. I landed at 7am, tested by 9am and had the results 6 hours later. I have heard people having results even quicker, but being at night, I'd expect you'll have your results in the morning.

I never looked at Sandbox as I was coming in through BKK, but SHA+ was so easy. Thaipass website was a little clunky, but I had no real issues. Landing into the airport, getting picked up, getting the test and waiting couldn't have been easier. I was only 'locked up' for 6 hours.
