Yes, they will do it. My transit was 23h 30m and they could do it. What I did not realise was that you cannot check in 2 bags to 2 different destinations - i.e. 1 bag to SIN and another to your final destination. All bags need to go together.

There is an Aviation Heritage museum about 15 mins from Perth WA - it's the Aviation Heritage museum in Bull Creek. Key highlights include a Dakota C-47, Lancaster Bomber, Tornado GR4, FA-18 Hornet, Tiger moth and more. It's not huge but very convenient to get to.

Just flew SQ226 on Saturday - it was a 1-1-1 in Y :D Very light load - probably 50% and less in the rear cabin. Excellent crew. Only downside was arrival into SIN was delayed due to congestion at Changi.
