Yes I'm getting the same error. Glad it's not just me...

Qatar Business (QSuites) Singapore to Rome Return $2480

Shame it's flying through Qatar... not keen on risking the wife getting sexually assaulted at the airport.

Australia to Reduce Incoming Int. Passenger Capacity from July 2021

Surely there would be a good business case there to open up regular London-Darwin direct services to begin with, given the demand? This would also drive up demand for ex Darwin domestic traffic. Outbound traffic might be light but surely would represent better commercial sense with an almost...

    CPA flying to/from Toowoomba?

A350-1000 as a freighter? This one doesn't look like a dedicated cargo air frame. It also appears to be doing passenger movements based on recent activity.

    CPA flying to/from Toowoomba?

CPA now flying to/from WTB? Is this to align flights to quarantine facilities being located nearby? In lieu or in addition to BNE flights?

Travelling to Australia During COVID-19 (Discussion)

Today THA seems to have closed ticket slots to oz until 1 April 22. I'm also seeing lower UAE economy capacity until the second half of Jan.

Australia to Reduce Incoming Int. Passenger Capacity from July 2021

Where there is a will, there is a way? Agree, would be good to do this for Aussies in need.

Travelling to Australia During COVID-19 (Discussion)

What about other carriers? DLH are suggesting flights via Japan to reach oz. My likely options are (what is likely the safest?): - DLH, connect via Japan onto ANA. Connect onto THA at BKK also an option - AFR/KLM, connect via Singapore/BKK/Japan onto QFA (as mentioned this is high risk as QFA...

Travelling to Australia During COVID-19 (Discussion)

What are the chances of QFA operating Asia > Oz flights as planned late in December? I'm keen to book for Jan 22 but don't want to waste time on a slot that will never eventuate. I'd then rather commit to SIA or THA.

Australia to Reduce Incoming Int. Passenger Capacity from July 2021

This is a great idea, although I suspect outbound loads being too light and could be the issue? Inbound traffic pricing would need to subsidise the lack of outbound loads. I don't see freight loads high on this sector unless they run wide-body and/or use DRW as a feeder/transit point for...

Aust govt removes outbound travel ban exemption for overseas residents

Yes that makes sense. That too makes sense to an extent. I assume there must be a few Australian non-residents coming back for a 'trip' (whatever the reason) which may be considered taking up valuable slots for those who are wanting to permanently return to oz or experiencing genuine hardship...

Aust govt removes outbound travel ban exemption for overseas residents

This applies to Australian residents, right? Are there specific cases you can quote? I am surprised to hear this if the context is non residents returning to their home/job overseas.

Australian women on Qatar flight internally examined

The report is already out... Their government has said we regret what we did but we had to do it. I don't think any other info would change the overall narrative either way.

Australian women on Qatar flight internally examined

Basically they are saying 'we regret to do this, but we're doing it anyway', and probably would do it all over again. Makes me wonder, if folks coming back to Australia now need to travel back via DOH (or any transit), what precautions can one take? It's worth having Australian consular...

Australian women on Qatar flight internally examined

If the Qataris were so concerned about the child's and mother's well-being, a non-consented strip search and invasive internal examination should not have been considered. Something tells me the well-being of both mother and child was the last thing on their mind.

Australian women on Qatar flight internally examined

Have other nations lodged concerns with Qatar over treatment of their citizens? Surely its not just Australia who is disgusted over their citizens treatment.
