There were a few chuckles on VZV Sunday evening for SYD-CHC, when the CSM said "Although this is a WiFi enabled flight, the service will become unavailable once we cross the Australian coast line." So about 30 seconds after becoming airborne then!

That was my original plan - it never hurts to ask after all!

I will be doing a similar layover on Sunday, flying MIA-AUS-DFW-LAX in AA-F, before an 8-hour layover at LAX before boarding QF12. Different PNR’s though but still HLO - will I be able to get my QF boarding pass early from AA (or otherwise) so that I can maximise lounge access?

Thanks for that docjames. Anecdotally it seems AA may not be willing to change, but I will give them a call later and see what they can do. I have found earlier flights with P inventory available, so whether they are willing to change based on the fact that it no longer meets the MCT we'll see.
