How did it all go? Did you use the confirmation code for Cathay online check in? AS were a little unsure if I could check in online with the confirmation code or if CX were going to email me a e-ticket number. 2

That's unfortunate, very happy I got my miles purchased and AS charged me 1/3 of the actual amount :p

Took me 15 days, spoke to AS and one agent said 10 days whilst another said 14 days.

RooFlyer, it was a standard Westpac Mastercard, Aus issued. Paid for the miles last Friday, came into my account and got my email confirmation on Saturday and I booked the flights immediately. FYI Alaskan booking agents CAN hold seats for 24 hours if your miles aren't immediately transferred...

Had no issues using my CC, took round 24 hours for the miles to appear in my account but the payment went through almost instantly.

That makes sense, looked like plenty of Award Seating with AS / CX but the booking agent couldn't mind much. Managed to get MEL > HKG > KIX in Y and NRT > HKG > MEL in J for 35,000 Miles + taxes. No idea how when I was initially quoted 105,000 miles for the entire trip in J and was waiting for...

Found a few flights via BA Exec Club but apparently AS can't see them for some reason. Can manage SYD to HKG but nothing from MEL :(

Considering I spoke to a booking agent last Friday who told me there was quite a few award seats on my flights spread across a few days and to find out today there's basically nothing, yes i'm not too happy. Never said it was CX's or QF's fault or even Alaska's fault.
